How to use the scented diffusers: Place the reeds in the container with oil. If you want less scent, use fewer reeds, and if you want more scent, use more reeds and perhaps flip them a little more often. A tip is to start with one reed, evaluate, and work your way up to the right number for your needs. You can then let the reeds stand and work without maintenance until the oil runs out.

The oil usually lasts for about 2-6 months, but it depends greatly on how many reeds you use, humidity, and any drafts.

The reeds are made from a special type of rattan with small channels that absorb the oil and spread the scent throughout the room.
